Wireless Networks and Telephony

By wole ·
Hello,

One of the advantages of wired networks is that the same wiring can be used for both computers and phones depending on how you patch the terminations in your comms room.

Can similar flexibility be achieved with a wireless network? It would be great to be able to move to a new office without having to lay a single cable for either network or phone traffic.

Regards.

wireless network is not meant for analog voice transmission unless if you use voice over ip. i know there are devices for tdmoip which transparently carry legacy tdm voice over ur ip network, both wired or wireless.
