Ok, more WMS questions. I am new to WMS but I have gotten very adapt at most of the basic and not so basic tasks of WMS and Encoder. I have a new problem though. I have a client who wants a way to make sure only specific IP Address’s can create PubPoints but anybody acan view them. What I have is a 2K3 server in a workgroup. I create a user for each “franchise” and give that user the proper rights to create pub points (i.e. Admin) and I create a “template” publishing point so that the “franchise” can create new pub points with settings specific to them. What my client now wants is a way to make sure only the “franchise” is able to create points. Basically he doesn’t want the “franchise” to be able to give out thier password and let just anyone use his server since what he is selling is access to the WMS server setup.
