Have a client with a Sony VAIO P4 1.6GHz running Windows XP Home desktop that has words, not random letters, appear in AOL’s IE internet interface. That has been occurring since the system was purchased in the fall of 2001. Now the same is happening in Word files. They open a .doc file and new words (random, not sentences) begin to appear. Any ideas??? (Current suspects are AOL, the XP voice recognition system, keyboard, or some virus). They have Norton Anti-Virus, but I doubt they have kept it updated or run it on a regular basis.
