Hi there! Seeking help for this annoying problem. Has been googling for half a day or so and had no luck with the solutions. Hope you guys can kindly assist. ^^
Situation:
My file server (is also my DC) is running on Win Server 2k8. Proper permissions has been granted to the share folder(in this case, it is their Home Folder). However, users can only map to the home folder but they cannot write.
I have removed all inhertiables, leaving only admins and the specific user with full control. Owner of the folders have been set to domain admins.
All the clients are running Win XP SP2, patches are up to date.
Details: \\server\share\
Permissions: Domain Admins, Administrators, user, system, creator owner : FUll Control
domain users: read/list folders
