XP OS and Office Training Assessments

By Imzadi ·
Has anyone out there done any assessments, pre and post, for their organization migrating to XP? This would be used in relation to identifying the appropriate content for the training program on both the OS and Office Suite in XP for people in an NT 4.0 environment.

Many thanks!

Desktop Applications Skills Assessments

New Horizons uses “Live-in-the-Application” technology to assess a candidate's ability to perform tasks within actual Microsoft Office 2000 applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). The assessment measures an individual's proficiency level at common tasks within the Microsoft Office 2000 application suite.
? Identify an individual's strengths and weaknesses in Office 2000 applications.
? Verify desktop application computing skills.
? Determine appropriate difficulty level for training sessions.
? Demonstrate an increase in skills through pre- and post-training measurement.
Key Features:
? “Live-in-the-Application" Accurately measure a candidate's skills in the actual application, not in a "simulation" of the Office 2000 environment.
? Task solutions are not "method restrictive" Perform tasks using the same methods allowed in the actual Office 2000 application.
? Easy to use Automated administration of testing sessions.
? Easy to score Completed assessment is scored automatically.
? Protected Score reports can be sent to the candidate/individual, or only to an administrator or supervisor.
