Have XP Pro on machines 1 and 2 within the same workgroup, connected through a Linksys Router. Both machines used to be able to share files with each other after a network login to the other machine. Now both machines still appear in Network Neighborhood, and machine 1 can access machine 2 files. However, machine 2 sees machine 1 but when a file is clicked this message appears: \\Machine 1\File Name is not accessible. You may not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have permission. The network path was not found.? The only thing I recently did was upgrade both machines to SP3. I have reloaded the local network wizard on each machine, but still the same result. Thanks in advance for the answer to get these machines sharing files again.
