Running Windows XP on a new laptop – The computer sometimes starts all by itself. It is turned off and will turn itself on and run down the battery if not plugged in. This is a case where the OS is spontaneously booting the computer.
I saw a question about this once before (except it was an XP Desktop). I searched the forum but couldn’t find it.
It is not a user issue as I recall but something with XP.
Does anyone know/recall the solution?
