I have a system running XP Pro and on about 6 times I’ve had to repair “lost or damaged file” and the PC wouldn’t boot. On all occasions apart from the last it has been the same file (c\windows\system32\config\system) but the last time it was something totally different.
Is this just a trait of XP……do I need some updates…….Any body come across this before…..
