I’ll make this quick.
I have a Dell 2724, a Windows 2000 Server, a Sonicwall TZ170, and a Netgear Wireless Router.
Currently, the Router connect to the Dell switch, and the server is connected via the switch as well. All workstations see the server, printers, etc. All is well. Here’s the goal – Attach the wireless router to allow our clients to connect to the Internet but NOT to our network resources. Would I do this via VLAN? I’ve been in the field for 16 years. I’m pretty savvy. But this is a bit over my head. I’ve never had administrative position like I’m in now, so I’m learning as I go.
