In reply to Google Sheet – Data Validation and Dropdown content

      1. Select the range of cells in column C where you want to add the dropdown list.
      2. Click on the “Data” menu at the top of the Google Sheets interface.
      3. From the dropdown menu, select “Data validation.”
      4. In the data validation dialog box that appears, choose “List of items” under the “Criteria” section.
      5. In the “List of items” field, enter the values you want in the dropdown list, separated by commas (e.g., WIP, NP, DONE).
      6. Check the “Show dropdown list in cell” option.
      7. Click “Save” to apply the data validation.
Now, the cells in column C will have a dropdown list with the specified values. If the cell already contains one of the dropdown values, it will be selected by default. Otherwise, the cell will be blank until the user selects a value from the dropdown.
