I’m currently working as a Resolution expert, one who handles follow up cases and one who callback customers to check if the problem was solved or not. if it is not resolved i will take the initiative to solved the problem and own the case until it is resolved…I want to shift to being an IT guy one who handles the networking and flow of data in the organization, one who maintains server and data centers. What are the steps that i can do to slowly meet the career that i want??

With out much background of how your company is structured is it possible for you to move up into that position or are there more “IT” style jobs that fit your criteria? If so, talk to your manager and people in those positions and find out what you need to do to be able to qualify or advance to that job.

Get some literature and training. There are plenty of “networking for dummies” style books around. And a lot of places offer free/inexpensive training classes. Also depending on your employer they may subsidize this cost in an effort to maximize effectiveness in your position

Look for jobs that are what you want, and go through the list of requirements they have and do your best to achieve those.
