HP Elitebook 840 g3 not charging

My laptop was plugged in the whole night and turned off , when I started it it was still 0% then I kept it on and left in charging its been half an hour and it is still 0% THIS A LAPTOP I JUST BOUGHT Idk if it is just slow while charging and it is have to be on, or it is broken

No reason to work this one. Back it goes as defective.

We’ve had similar Elitebooks at the office and they usually get past 0% in a few minutes.
