Open Source imaging program needed..

By Bapster ·
to use for creating desktop/server images, needs to support USB(be able to write the image to a usb drive), then I would ultimately like to boot to the USB drive to deploy image(s).

We use GHOST at work, but I was looking for a decent opensource/freeware offering with similar features.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

PartImage and PartitionSaving

by Choppit In reply to Open Source imaging progr ...

PartImage http://www.partimage.org included with Knoppix IIRC http://www.knoppix.org/

Not open source AFAIK but I used Partition Saving quite extensively a few years back http://www.partition-saving.com/
