OS X Leopard WINS server removal

By razz2 ·
OS X Leopard MacBook Pro has a WINS Server listed under the Airport
connection. It has the default NetBIOS name, a blank workgroup and a
grey WINS server that I can't delete. If I get it to delete then I can't
click OK.

ALL SHARING is OFF. Little Snitch sees nmbd connecting to the address
of this WINS server.

The ip of the WINS is not on my subnet and in fact is the default
address of an old linksys cable modem at 192.168.100.1.

I should be able to empty the WINS server list if I do not want one, so
why does this one keep appearing?

Any ideas where Leopard stores this info?
