We received the following notice from the network administrators today.
“Some of our servers have become unstable and insecure and must have preventative maintained performed. This is critical in cannot be delayed.”
I know that some of my co-workers are unstable and insecure. But, when did it become possible for hardware to be insecure? Unsecure, not secure, maybe. But insecure?
Where is Edwin Newman when we need him to help keep the language pure?
I won’t address the grammar in the message. That is another issue.
I just hope that our servers do not need many long sessions with a computer psychiatrist in order to resolve their insecurities.
