Hi all,

i am facing below mentioned problem.

I have IBM server .i have formated full harddsik but still previous os entry in boot.ini .
i dont understand that why it was as i have formated the full harddisk .

You will need to be more specific about what os you are talking about, what exactly you did and what is the negative effect of having this os entry in the boot.ini?

boot up with the proper OS right click my computer, select properties, go to the advanced tab, under start up and recovery click on settings, a new window will open up new the top under system startup click on edit. then a boot.ini notepad doc will open up. the bottom line starting with "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk... delete the second line (but verify that first (it'll be in the same order as when you booted up, delete the one you dont boot up in), then go to file save and then exit and you will be good to go.
