I am putting together a Power BI dashboard with very specialized subtotals for specific groups, I am using a Matrix Visualization for this report, but have struggled with placing my subtotals where I really need them. My report has different categories that need to be subtotaled, but power bi will not let me place those sub-totals in those places. I have seen some posts where people put together templates in Excel then upload them to Power BI. I need more information on how this would be done. Or if there is another completely better way to create subtotals. This report is best compared to a financial report, like a balance sheet, with subtotals for COGS, Profit ETC… IF any on knows the best way to put this together in Power BI please let me know.
