Relocate SQL to larger partition?

By SciFiMan ·
I have a server with Project Server 2002, SQL 2000, Sharepoint team services on it, but it is on the C: drive of only 10GB of space, and there is only about 8MB left all the time. Another partition has 38GB free. (It is a Proliant with two 18GB SCSI disks in this logical setup.)

There is a database file type in the SQL data folder that is about 6GB named "proj926", which I guess is the main database. Is there some way to change the path of this (possibly like redirecting the Windows pagefile to another location) file to move it onto the free drive? Or some utility in SQL that would let me relocate to the large partition. Not being experts, we had a lot of trouble getting Project server all installed and working, including a $250 support call to MS. Would like to avoid the pain of reinstalling.

Also, I once had a program called something like Window Washer, that let me relocate programs to other disks. Used it at home to move large games and such, and it redid the registry and all that during the move. Would something like this work in this instance? Thanks for any help offered!
