Sharing Cable internet Connection

By karansoin ·
I have a cable internet connection for my computer. The connect is through a cable modem.
I want to connect this internet to other three computers
so that internet can be accessed on them.
How can this be accomplished and what hardware is needed,
without making one of the computers a server.

Buy a new router 802.11G (backward compatible with 802.11b - wireless is the best decision) with a MAC address filtering (this will bring more security to your home/business network) and as many as you want wireless PCI desktop cards/PCMICA cards - again 802.11g (for laptops) for any computer in your network...
