I am new in VLAN.I've Allied Telesyns Layer 2 switch , when i create 3 VLAN, vlan5, vlan6 and Vlan100.
All servers are in VLAN100, so how to configure VLAN5 & VLAN 6 need to access Server in VLAN100. I also want vlan5 & Vlan6 can't communicate each other.

seperate subnets/gateway firewall

by TG2 In reply to VLAN

Each of your vlan's should be on seperate ip space.

192.168.1.x - Servers
192.168.2.x - Vlan5
192.168.3.x - Vlan6

192.168.X.1 - firewall(s)

Then you set up your firewall(s) to allow or deny traffic (both vlan5/6 to servers, but not vlan5 to vlan6 or vise versa)
