Once about every two to three weeks my Symantec (12.5) backup will fail on my Exchange server (2003 sp2)..when I run vssadmin list writers, I see that one or two writers have failed..they report no errors but show they failed. I will restart the server and all is fine..just wondering where to look as to the cause of these writer failures..everytime I google it I just get restart the server..I just would like to know what is causing the failures..logs report nothing except the failed backup..
Any advice would be great..thanks.
