I currently have a wireless network set up in a large building (4 floors). THroughout the building I have in place 31 Cisco 2100 Series access points running 802.11b. These are all connected to Cisco Catalyst 3550 Inline power switches (7 IDFs) which travel back to the MDF via fiber optic. I am going to be adding on 150 users throughout the building, and people are concerned that the bandwidth/ access to the network is going to be slow or non-existant with this many users. Additionally, in two years,I am going to ba adding on another 150 users, all wireless. This will total about 350 wireless pcs in the building. I had a site survey done by Cisco and they placed the access points in the building based on their findings and on the maximum coverage. With an additional amount of users on at any given time, can I say with any certainty that there will or will not be issues with the wireless connectivity? Will adding additional Aps solve any problems with additional users?
THank you for the info.
