monday work management is a powerhouse team management suite. With this platform, you can plan, track, and collaborate with ease, see the big picture, plan timelines, keep a close watch over your week, integrate with other services, and enjoy the usual bits and pieces of project management.

When anyone thinks of project management, kanban boards should come to mind. After all, kanban is one of the most efficient means of managing a project. With an at-a-glance ability to see exactly where each task stands in the workflow, you can quickly view a summary of how well the project is coming along.

With many project management tools, you get kanban boards automatically set up. With monday work management, you have to manually add them, but there are two ways to do so. Let me show you both.

What you’ll need to create a kanban board on monday work management

The only thing you’ll need to create a kanban board is a valid monday work management account. You can use either a free or paid account, as the feature is available to both. With that account at the ready, let’s add your first kanban board.

The easiest method of adding a board

This route is the easiest path to adding a kanban board. First, log in to your monday work management account and select a Workspace to use. Near the top-right corner, below the Workspace selector, you should see three buttons: Add, Filters and Search (Figure A).

Click Add. Then, from the pop-up menu, click New Board (Figure B).

In the resulting pop-up (Figure C), you can name it, choose the privacy and select what’s to be managed by the board.

That’s all there is to creating a kanban board the simple way. Let’s do the same thing with the help of a template.

Adding a kanban board template to monday work management

The next method requires adding a template. To do this, click Explore Templates near the bottom right corner of the monday work management main window (Figure D).

The Template Market pop-up will appear. From the left navigation, click Project Management, where you’ll see Kanban Software Development (Figure E).

Click that entry. Then, when prompted, click Use Template (Figure F).

Quick and easy kanban

Although you do have to take a few extra steps to get a kanban board added to your monday work management Workspace, it’s well worth the effort. You’ll find monday work management kanban options will help make your project management efforts considerably more efficient.
