I upgraded my computer and OS from Win98 to WinXP Home. I am using the same printer (Canon C555) but with a USB printer cable, instead of the old serial cable. I also am using the old Win98 accounting software (Peachtree Complete for Windows V5.0). On the older Win98 OS I could group a set of documents in Peachtree and have them spool onto the Canon printer (Canon C555 printer). But with the new WinXP OS the set of documents in Peachtree will not spool onto the Canon C555 printer. I can see them go to the printer spooler one at a time, but then they just drop off, without printing, one by one. The only way that I can get the documents to print is to start each document, one at a time. Only then will they spool onto the Canon printer spooler. This is the only printer on this computer so it is set as the defalt printer (with the dark check mark). Also the printer properties are set to Print spooled documents first, Enable printer spooling, and Spool print documents. Under the Spool print documents setting I have tried both settings (Start printing after last page is spooled and Start printing immediately) and it did not change anything. Any ideas of how to fix this problem?
