    Chromebook Print now LOOPs

    Chromebook PRINT Failure

    Need specific “fix” for post-Cloud Print Looping.
    Ctl-P and other routine no longer displays a list of printers.
    MISSING some CODE!

    Next to “Destination,” select the Down arrow Down arrow.
    Select See more…
    Choose your printer.
    Tip: Some printers will automatically appear on this list. If you don’t find your printer on the list, select Manage.

      When we see this we do the full up factory reset on the Chromebook and have the user log back in.

      We tend to use the Google everything answer for printing setup at https://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/ but there are folk without compatible printers who have to deal with that on their own.

        Sorry, Factory Reset is extreme !
        Link is to old and even depreciates itself at the top.

        Problem started a few days ago and IMHO was because of some ‘update’ which removed the CloudPrint code with out linking/jumping to a list of printers !

          When the user logs in, all their apps and files are still there. Unlike other OSes. If there is something very non-standard in use, I don’t see it mentioned.
