If the printer is modern, I have found that simply plugging it in to you computer via USB cable or using wireless. Some printer tools/advanced features may require installation of those components. Not much different between Windows 10 and 11. No big deal. As kees mentioned, when all else fails, read the printer manual. There is a reason the manufacturer puts it in the box that the printer comes in.
