I have a multiple-monitor, multiple pc setup. Lots going on. My issue is that I have a 32″ odyssey g7, and a 49″ odyssey g9 and am unable to get displayport connections to work with my laptop that has no displayport.
Displayport to HDMI cable: g7 does not recognize anything is connected to displayport
Displayport to HDMI adapter to HDMI cable: g7 does not recognize anything is connected to displayport
Displayport to USB-C: this works with my laptop and g7; however, i am using the USB-C port on my laptop to connect an adapter hub. This does not work with my laptop and g9. But when I connect my g9 with my laptop with this cord, it recognizes something is attached, but it does not display it.
Display port to USB-C through adapter hub: g7 does not recognize anything is connected.
