I am reading a voltage sticker on 3Phase connection and do not understand why 440Volt Ac is printed, 3phase of 220volt shall add up 660, please help me to arrive an answer.

Three phase voltages

Three phase voltage measurements are based on using Neutral as the reference or common connection. Using neutral as the reference, each phase will measure 440 or 220 volts. If you measure phase to phase, you would only read a reduced voltage and not the full potential.
