    HP Deskjet 1050 J410 will not print ,help

    HP Deskjet 1050 J410 will not print ,help
    1- ink Levels are showing Full
    2- The printer takes scans ok – Just printing problem – what do I do ?
    3- The name of driver I installed is – Full_Webpack-1333-DJ1050_J410_Full_Webpack.exe
    4- when I took the color cartridge out I noticed that it was full ,but some of the ink had spilt onto the connection.
    5- when I took the Black cartridge out I noticed that it was almost Empty – so the program is Not functioning with the Level indicator either.

    what should I do ??

      I see it’s a printer introduced in 2010, so probably it’s out of warranty.
      If the HP Print and Scan Doctor (a diagnostic program) doesn’t help, and neither does the user manual, it seems time to buy a new printer.

        With modern printers, it is rare to take it for repair if something is not working. 99.99% of the time, it is cheaper to replace the printer with a newer model.

        To reinforce my point, about 6 months ago I bought a new Canon printer from Amazon.com. It would not connect to my Wi-Fi network and was either broken or defective. I called Amazon to return it and they told me to throw it out and they refunded my money without another question. Most modern printers only last a couple years any longer.

      Make sure the correct ink or toner cartridges are installed and the printer has sufficient ink or toner for your print job. Make sure no error messages or blinking lights display on the printer control panel. Resolve any errors before you use the printer. Restart the printer to clear any error states.
