IBM T86D TFT/LCD Digital Monitor

To whoever can help,

I inherited two IBM T86D TFT/LCD monitors (Type/Model: 9497-DW0, s/n: 55-A0179H, p/n: 04N7398, FRU: 04N7405).
In the process of trying to make one good monitor, I had the following conditions:

When I power up (with or without the signal cable connected), the power light (amber) comes on steady, momentarily. At the same time I get the “NO SIGNAL” displayed and the
fan runs, momentarily. Within seconds, the amber light flashes at the same time the display turns black and the fan stops running. The amber light continues
to flash until I turn off the power.

Going through the process of elimination, I ordered (and installed) a new inverter, a used (tested) main display board and AC adapter.

The exact same conditions prevail.

There is one other board in the system (F8594-IF, p/n 25L7759) other than the switch and input boards.

I’ve tried swapping the switch and input boards still having the same conditions.

Can you advise? Is there a DOS level flash or repair for this monitor?
I am ready to try anything to troubleshoot and/or repair this monitor.

Hopefully,
Joe
