Hey all,
Maybe you can help me. On our network, we run around 30 PCs, all of which are assigned static IP addresses and run Windows XP Pro. This morning, one of them reported an IP conflict. But when I ran Angry IP scanner to find out what other machine was using that IP address, it showed up as dead. What is going on? Is it a hardware failure of some sort? After I assigned the PC a different IP that I knew was unused it works fine.
