Need some suggestion for the printer purchase

    by philipshernandez01 ·

Hey, I’m an employee of a multinational company. I’m functioning as one of the purchase managers. Our company has the rule to keep the documents in both hard and soft copies. So we need efficient printers. Printers have a big role in our office. Summaries, contracts, lists etc are some of the main documents. Once in six years, we will replace our old printer with new ones. This time we are planning to purchase the printers online. We did an online search and found an online store with a wide range of printers with good deals. If it’s not too much trouble, please share your views

The company where I work has a few big company-grade printer/copiers on a lease contract with service included directly from the manufacturer.

However, if you’re looking to buy a few standard laser printers with standard warranty, you just buy the model you prefer in the cheapest shop matching your regular procurement policy.

The issues I read here would point me to the big company-grade units with lease contracts that include service and repair. Six years is a long life span for any printer I know of. This means that service and repair is not optional.

That said at our office we use the usual few hundred dollar printers and think nothing of it when they fail. We go get another. This laissez faire attitude is only possible since we are well seasoned, own our shop/office and don’t have to deal with committees or such. In your case since you wrote what I read above you can’t cheap out.
