    Plugged my speakers into my laptop and no matter how I adjust my settings there is no sound, but when I plus it into something else there is sound and it works.

      Does your laptop has a separate slot for microphone and speakers, or a combined slot for a headset?

      Check the audio settings on the laptop. They might be muted on the computer. Good luck.

      Check the audio settings on your computer to make sure your speakers are showing up on the device and the sound is not muted. Mess around with the input/output settings to make sure you can hear the volume.
