Visio printing

by slee . Updated 19 years, 2 months ago

I have a problem regarding printing in Visio.
When printing a visio document to a laserjet or any other printer it works, but when I print the same document on a hp colour deskjet 5743 it prints, but cuts the image half and print it on the top of the page.It only prints the bottom half of the image.I know it has something to do with the pinter settings, because it’s only happening on this printer.
I managed to get it to print correctly by going into the printer settings, effects tab and adjusting the resizing options.
By default it’s set to print 100% of size.
I enabled the box that said Print document on A4 and ticked the box scale to fit.
Then when I print it works.

However if I print again without changing anything the problem starts all over.
When I go back to the resizing options, the settings are still adjusted to the way I changed it to.

I have to disable the checkbox scale to fit and enable it again.

Then it works. The problem is that even though I know how to get it to print, I would like the changes I make to stay permanent.
