What brand of monitors is the best?

I want a monitor for my new desktop computer and i’m wondering which brand I should buy my monitor from? Logitech, Razor, Asus, LG, or Samsung?

I doubt if you can say that maker X is better than maker Y. But you can rank specific models, for monitors just as well as for cars or, say, peanut butter.

I just read a test that starts with determining what you mainly want to use the monitor for: viewing video, graphic design, office work or gaming. Then determine the size and resolution you want. Then think about connections, viewing angle and options for height and orientation adjustment.

Then start reading reviews and finally make a choice.

Going to have to tell more.

Between home and office I see the following makes and all are great for our use.
Asus, Acer, Jlink, Samsung, Toshiba, LG and maybe a few others.

Not one was bought because of the brand. It was about the size and features. Not one has any complaint about image quality.

My current, personal favorite is the Samsung Odyssey series. I am not saying that I know it is the best, it is an excellent brand IMHO and exceeded my expectations. I feel it is solidly built and has a great image display at a reasonable price.

In my experience, Dell, Logitech, and HP tend to be a more affordable option but if you want the best resolution then go with Asus or Razor, and if you want decent resolution and not break your wallet then go with Samsung.
