I do volunteers work at an old railway and the chairman so to speak gave me an old Polycomp Textdisplay, wondering if I could get it to work. It is a Polycomp model AN24V1. it only shows red lights so only red text is possible, it came with a cable attached that splits into USB 2.0 and a PS/2 Cable at the end. Plugin in the usb cable seems to do nothing though I must admit I never tried an older OS. Does anyone know how to make this text display work or have any tips where to search further?
I have pictures of the model but sadly no serial number (there is sticker glue residue but the sticker itself is long gone).
I tried asking Polycomp the question how to make this model work but they gave no response.. at all. So I thought I should try it here.
