    What is the cheapest monitor for gaming?

    I was getting a new pc and I was wondering what the cheapest monitor for gaming is? Do I need 1080p 60hz or is less optimal?

      What’s your current monitor on your current PC? What max resolution and frequency?

      How unhappy are you with this zero dollar solution if you connect that to your new PC? Only buy another monitor if the specs of the old one aren’t good enough, and then buy something better.

      Keep it simple. If you are on a budget, don’t worry about getting a 4K monitor for example as it would be overkill.

      I’m fine on a 1080p 144Hz today. Until last year I had the 1080p 60Hz and it seemed fine to me.
      The only reason I changed was the old monitor finally failed.
