What’s the best option for faxing without USPS?

Hi, I need to send a fax and thought about using USPS, but I’ve heard they might not have faxing services. What’s the best alternative?

Since fax is hardly used anymore (a pdf is the common alternative) I doubt if any of the visitors here can recommend an option.

Nowadays, printers/flat-bed scanners are a cheap and an easy way to send documents and/or pictures via email. The fax is a dead technology for most. Any reason you need to use a fax? Most modern companies no longer use faxes to communicate as there is a cost to operate an additional phone # via landline to allow a fax.

Last time I went to our local UPS (brown) store.

For me I needed to get it done, I was not interested in “best.”
