XP SP2 Power option

By cmdx2 ·
I am using a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that will not wake the OS from sleep mode.

Are there any configurations to prevent XP Pro sp2 from going into hibernation /sleep mode for ALL users?

Will not?

Have you looked for / found
"Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" settings for the mouse or keyboard?

Are they there but not having an affect?

I am using a Logitech MX 1000 laser mouse and bluetooth usb "hub" from an MX500 desktop with a DELL bluetooth keyboard.

Both the mouse and keyboard have a bluetooth tab in their respective Control Panel applets.

Both also have the option "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby"

Power configuration in XP is a PER USER setting.

Every user gets their own. You can set Power Settings in a default profile. I don't know about usings policies for this.

Here at work we don't allow non admin users to change their power settings. I configure the default profile with the settings we want and leave it. These get copied to the users profile the first time they log in and their local profile is created.
